The Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has announced his plans to construct houses for low-income earners who are members of his church.
This initiative aims to alleviate the financial burden on his followers and the wider Nigerian population.
Additionally, this project will be part of the annual thanksgiving program and will coincide with the opening of a new auditorium in Lagos.
The three-week event will include various philanthropic activities benefiting church members, the community, and the less privileged, such as widows. Primate Ayodele uses this occasion to express gratitude to individuals who have contributed to the progress of the nation by visiting police stations, LASTMA offices, schools, FRSC offices, and other institutions. The program commenced with prayers and financial aid provided to schools, with several other activities planned throughout the three-week period.
Primate Ayodele has announced that as part of the 2024 thanksgiving programme, he plans to build houses for low income earners in his church, in addition to opening another palliative market on February 14, 2024.
The first edition of the market took place in November 2023 and had over 10,000 beneficiaries who were able to purchase essential items at highly discounted prices. It is interesting to mention that a mosque will also be built by the clergyman to mark his annual thanksgiving programme in 2024.
