The Joint Admissions and Matriculations Board (JAMB) has moved the start date for the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) registration from January 31 to February 3, 2025.

JAMB warned that some Computer-Based Test (CBT) centres used dishonest methods to get approval and said such centres would be disqualified.

Dr. Fabian Benjamin, JAMB’s Public Communication Advisor, explained that the delay is needed to update the registration system. This includes changes due to the recent suspension of some law courses in certain universities.

JAMB apologized for any inconvenience and assured candidates that the extra time will help make the registration process smoother.

The Mock UTME is set for April 5, 2025, while the main UTME will take place from April 25 to May 5, 2025.
