The Champions League play-off round will take place in February, with first legs on February 11-12 and second legs on February 18-19, 2025.

Reigning champions Real Madrid will face 2023 title holders Manchester City in the play-off round of this season’s Champions League, following Friday’s draw.

This marks the fourth consecutive year that the two clubs will meet in a knockout tie, with Real Madrid triumphing over City in a penalty shoot-out during last season’s quarter-finals.

Meanwhile, Celtic will square off against six-time European champions Bayern Munich in the same round.

This marks the Scottish club’s return to the knockout stages for the first time in 12 years. The last encounter between these two sides was in the 2017/18 group stage, where Celtic was defeated both home and away.
