A former Federal Lawmaker and Frontline Imo politician from Mbaise, Hon Nnanna Igbokwe , has commended Governor Hope Uzodimma for his developmental strides in Imo State.
He made this statement in Abuja while interacting with journalists at the National Assembly after a study visit of a section of class 2023/2024 Ph.D students of Public Administration of the Nasarawa State University.
He thanked him for the Owerri/Umuahia road, appointment of Mbaise sons as a Federal Commissioner and as members to other Federal Government Boards.
He noted with pride that that Governor Hope Uzodimma has given ndi-mbaise a place on the table and sense of pride with the appointment of an Mbaise sons and daughter as Deputy Chief of Staff (admin), Commissioner for Budget & Planning and Principal Secretary to the Governor.
He maintained that the Governor is Governor for all Imo people both at home and outside Imo State .
He confessed at the commendable support the Governor has given to Imo citizens in federal public service to attain greater heights in their career.
Most of whom have received promotion after many years of stagnation and others elevated to Chief Executive positions.
He alluded to the fact that Governor Uzodimma has been using his position to influence good business opportunities for Imo citizens here in Abuja.
We are proud of him , he said.
He urged the Governor to be focused and continue with his development strides.
