In line with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda and our commitment to strengthening Nigerian defence industry, advancing national security and economic growth, the Nigeria’s Minister of state for Defence, Dr. Bello Matawalle led a high-level Nigerian delegation on a two-day visit to key defence industrial facilities in Egypt.

They visited the manufacturing facilities of Eagle International for Defence Systems Company in Suez and the Ministry of Military Production in Cairo.

Matawalle noted that their objective is to deepen cooperation between Eagle International and Nigeria’s Defence Industries Corporation of Nigeria (DICON) for the joint manufacture of military equipment, development of indigenous capabilities and transfer of advanced defence technologies to Nigeria.

“This is about building a stronger, more self-reliant and technologically capable Nigerian Defence Industry”, Matawalle maintained.

Many Nigerians have eulogized Matawalle for being at the for front of providing quality leadership as regards Defence administration inline with President Tinubu’s renewed hope mantra.
